Ahem *cough*

@fasteel.....and at the risk of making myself even more unpopular (and without the need for multiple posts)

If you have had a previous installation of SH3 in your system which you are no longer using, it is best practice to delete the SH3 folder located in C\MyDocs (that is the usual location).

Use your SH3 disc to uninstall your previous installation (this removes more residual files than a simple deletion operation).

Carry out a registry clean with a decent software programme....I use Regvac, there is a free trial period version available from here:

http://www.regvac.com/regvac.htm

You can now carry on with the instructions from the previous posters or you can click on my sig which will take you to the official GWX website where you will find comprehensive installation instructions.

Please be advised, GWX3.0 does not come with the latest version of JSGME but you can obtain it easily and free of charge from:

http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/sof...cts-jsgme.html

I hope you enjoy your GWXperience

Having a weird problem with SH3 Commander Crew Management.

While I can pull up my crew and look at them, all the buttons are disabled and I can't award anything to anyone. The only buttons that work are Close and Crew List at the bottom.

Could this be because I updated my crew from within SH3? I've uninstalled and re-installed SH3 Commander. I'm running stock SH3 with just a couple of graphic mods (just tga file overlays -- nothing fancy).

Sorry, I'd already uninstalled SH3 and SH3 Cmdr in preparation to switching over to GWX. I'll be trying it again tonight and if the problem occurs again, I'll ss it and post it.

Was your boat out to sea at the time? Ordinarily the crew can only be managed in Commander while you are between patrols.
