It was on sale. It looks like a good practice boat. Work my way up to something tougher.

And what do you mean by problems? Accuracy problems or quality/design problems?

I looked at the 1/35 italeri kit(to measure the torps), and what a detailed kit! But, that kit is around $150 and isn't designed to be rc or have a motor in it.

I want to get one of thosee 1/35 Schnellboots, covert it to RC and have at on the lake.

How tempting, after working on a real PT boat and spending countless hours, is it to turn this little model into a real thing? I know you've thought about it

Semi-current status. I'm changing some things on the boat. I've torn off the torp tubes and I'm converting it to roll-off torps and I'm building a scratch 40mm bofor and scratch built mark 13 torps

I plan on it becoming PT-323, in honor of one of our vets.







As of today, the motors are mounted

You need outrunner motors on that PT and really make her fly! She looks great!
