I did not want to start a new thread just for this one question, and could not find a thread similar but this one seems sort of close seeing as how when you are detected depth charging comes next.
I am wondering if destroyers carry a limit of depth charges, I tend to count them when I get attacked and per destroyer I tend to receive around 50-75 of them and then they leave. Now I always wondered why they left the scene. Did they run out of depth charges and give up? Or did they lose me cause I usually go down to 50rpm and sit around 160-180m? I only need one or two good experienced answers as to not steal this thread ![]() |

They probably lost you and 30-45 minutes after they lose you they will leave. They also have a limited number of depth charges but, if they haven't lost you, they will continue to make attack runs, even though they have nothing to drop.
