I wonder if there is still a time stamp for when the message was generated and if it is just suppressed, or if the time of game object creation is lost once it is created. I have noticed that there is a faded contact box that moves as you try to plot an intercept ( if you have those contacts on) but I don't know if that is based off of the initial time of creation or if it is based of of its current location. I make no assumption that ships always maintain course and speed from the time the contact is placed on the map with the data given one can work it backwards to see what time the contact was added and go from there , but in my book that's sort of a cheat that wouldn't be needed if they just did it right in the first place. I would categorize this as playable but not remotely historically accurate. IE I can find convoys and the like with they way that they have stuff set up, but it's kinda silly. when I play with contacts on its about blowing stuff up any way so the missing time stamps don't bug me. when I play for accuracy I usually just happen across a ship in a trade route vs trying to hunt down a radio contact.
