I've managed to get the flak gunners to man their positions ONCE - and only after taking the gun myself and pressing F6 SEVERAL times. This was due to a SINGLE case where Beaufighter or possibly Mosquito aircraft out of Gibralter actually MADE threatening maneuvers around me. Operant term: "MADE" - they never fired a shot, just circled about. ANYWAY, after managing to target with the binocs, the flak gunners started banging away - but, unlike the deck gunners, couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. In typical SH5 AI fashion, two of five aircraft destroyed themselves with a lovely mid-air collision, complete with fireworks-type explosion. Rather like what one sees when freighters, etc. run head-long into seawalls, explode, and burst into flame.
