I would have to say with great confidence no.
I have fired the deck gun on ships in swells that were up to the lip of the conning tower. Underwater half the time. Yes I know its cheating but I was getting a laugh out of it. To bad the possibility of being lost at sea wasent realized it woulda been one way to keep me from a slilly exploit.
