For an aircraft the Air folder
Should be the Library in this case but as they are in there its odd
Just tried JSGME in the ones from SH3 - Ordnance folder as well but still same error
Same goes for subnets

Is missing a reference somewhere but IS in the Platforms library for those type objects

Most odd

Yes, very odd.
Entries are correct in Roster\Names.cfg
Dat Files are in Library.
cfg/eqp in Ordnance.

Still the same, "not found in platforms library"

Even tried substituting dat files from sh3, no go.
Also tried copying respective dats to data/Ordnance folder, didn't help..

Next step should be to ask one of the devs, though I think they might be too busy right now to answer. I hope the game engine code is not missing, and we're just overlooking something.

Once this is sorted out, we can think of interesting stuff like, torpedo nets for docked battleships in some ports..

Check that the names are right. Open the dat and check the name there, as well. 99% chance this is a typo.

That is a common error when you add or clone a new unit. It was almost always some dumb name I forgot to change, invariably.

would it be possible to simply mimic minefields by scripting a %chance of an explosion in certain areas, such as harbour defensive positions, choke points etc where minefields would normally be layed?

I didnt use the SH5 stuff
Ripped all from SH3 and still no go

May be something missing from Miss Ed itself
Patch may cure the problem

Are the "type" numbers all set right? (sure you checked, but I saw that error MANY times making my sh4 campaign as I reset small escorts to a new unit type to differentiate them from the river gunboats. One missed type=1 someplace (replacing type=0 or type=5) and you'd see that error.)

Good luck!
