The files are in SH5.
Anyone tried to add them? What happened or did not happen? Are they even in the Mission Editor as addables? |

I copied the configs from SH4 to replace the missing ones in SH5 and the Editor crashed when I tried to add them to the map.
Edit, re: below post: Yup, that's the error I was getting piri_reis. Last edited by kylania; 03-31-10 at 09:46 AM. |

Ok, here's what I did:
The Minefield and AntiSubNet folders exist in data\Ordnance I created the respective cfg files in Roster\British\Ordnance Opening up ME, you can see these under Ordnance and British. But when you add them on the map the error is: ERROR: platform Minefield not found in platforms library!! After clicking ok, ME gives runtime error with a big old red X on map screen. So there is something we need to add to this platforms lib, but where is it? I'll search the folders for clues.

There are NavalMine.dat and AntiSubNet.dat files w/ the 3d models/textures in the Library folder. And two *Dummy.dat files for the minefield/subnet. These don't need copying to the roster folder AFAIK, they should be read from the Library if needed. (Checking sh3/gwx and the roster entries/ordnance files are almost the same, nothing seems to be missing there) The missing part seems to be this platforms library with references to all objects. ![]()

For an aircraft the Air folder Should be the Library in this case but as they are in there its odd Just tried JSGME in the ones from SH3 - Ordnance folder as well but still same error Same goes for subnets Is missing a reference somewhere but IS in the Platforms library for those type objects Most odd |

Yes, very odd.
Entries are correct in Roster\Names.cfg Dat Files are in Library. cfg/eqp in Ordnance. Still the same, "not found in platforms library" Even tried substituting dat files from sh3, no go. Also tried copying respective dats to data/Ordnance folder, didn't help.. Next step should be to ask one of the devs, though I think they might be too busy right now to answer. I hope the game engine code is not missing, and we're just overlooking something. Once this is sorted out, we can think of interesting stuff like, torpedo nets for docked battleships in some ports..

Hi, it is simply a bug and should solved with the next patch. Also that AI-ships do not follow waypoints exactely. But shown exactely in the internal ME_sim-function! ![]() This is bugged since SH3 . I have it postet under the related rubric in this and other forums, but I have less hope if nobody comments this. Best regards Karl ![]() |

Me neither, but fingers crossed it'll be one of the things automatically amended whilst they were working on repairing something else. This Patch has been a long time coming and The Devs must've kept a list of things they hadn't finished, I know they'll never admit to it though
