So you want a transparent part? .jpg doesn't support transparancy (no aplha channel).

Use something like .png.

are you serious! so i just save it as png, thats it?

I saved it as jpg and psd

Arklight you deserve a bloody medal!

I spent all day searching pulling my hair out watching photoshop youtube vids reading tutorials and they all taught the same how to delete background but replace with another.

And all i had to do was save the file as a .pnd

How can I save a Photoshop image with no background color, even if I have deleted the background layer? I know this is an old discussion but the answer to my question is very important I am appealing to the admin. Please approve my post, Thanks

Hey, you have to save it in a format that supports transparency. If it is a single image and not an animation, save it as .PNG
