At least we get "do overs".
Every patrol is a learning experience. Good hunting in your "next " life. ![]()

I totally agree with this statement. It also helps if you try and note everything down from your patrols, times you dived, times you surfaced, how many DCs were dropped in a single attack run, distance travelled submerged, etc etc. This all helps to build a complete knowledge of your UBoat and what it can and cant do.And when air attacks become a serious menace I even used to note down the sunrise and sunset periods which can be useful when defending against planes.

Could never get caught like that.
It takes my guys 24 minutes to reload a tube, and the boat has to be at least 50 meters down (usualy 100) for them to do it, AFTER DISENGAGING. |
