This mod does not match....when I visited U-995 in Laboe, the deck was dull black in opposition to the interior hull walls and ceiling which were painted in an off white or very light grey.

while in the "Das boot" movie set, which can be visited in Bavaria studios in Munich, the whole interior of the sub is painted in dull black. I pointed out the fact that the walls and ceiling of the original submarines were originally painted in a light gray, and not black, and it was explained that originally they were the vanilla light grey, but the director, in order to give a more claustrophobic look to the submarine, decided to have all the internal walls painted in the same black as the deck, in this way it was also enhanced the effect of the smoke that was released before every take to create a foggy atmosphere.
