Why I find that so funny, I don't know. It just...is.

I guess there will be more boats in the future. As long as you have a credit card I mean. Perhaps even the whole war will end in '45 and not in '43 someday?

You guys are forgetting the VIIC/41
So playable submarines are: VII A, VII B, VII C, VII C/41

I mean, I know we have great modders out here. But to be able to play with Boats like IXA and so on or XXI you need to Model all the Interiors of those typs. And who is able to to it? I think even for the Romanians it was a lot of work. (Maybe thats the Reason they released a "Battle of the Atlantic because UBI was pushing?) I remember one project where a guy here was doing a machine engine room for Silent Hunter IV. That was a lot of work. I don´t expect that we see those typs in the next 2 years or sth. To much work.

I'm pretty sure, in-game, it is all the same VIIC model with slight changes like the addition/removal of the wire-cutter.

According to U-Boat.net, the VIIA, VIIB, and VIIC were all different lengths, but in-game I think it is all the same fuselage. Sort of sad considering the VIIB is about 2m longer than the VIIA and the VIIC even longer than that.

Correct. I think they even reused the same interiors for all the subs (save for the electric engine compartment of type VIIA).

Looking at historic photos, there were several changes in the interiors going from type VIIA to type VIIC. Equipment was constantly modernized as the war progressed.

There's enough photografic material around so that modders could reconstruct accurate interiors for types VIIA/B/C
