I started in 41' in a Porpoise class sub in the Asiatic TO

I can't get the AA gun manned

when I go to the crew screen the AA is hidden behind the depth dial and the compass...

can you help ?

I have RFV 2.0 and RSRD

Hit the numpad "Del" key (right next to the zero) to hide the dials and menu bar. If you have a laptop without a real or virtual numpad, you can either plug in an external usb keyboard (5$ on craigslist), or temporarily change to a higher screen resolution so the slots aren't blocked. (Changing res requires a game restart.)

However, I believe you can control the AA gun manually without any seamen in the slots without ill effects. You're probably better off doing this anyway since your crew are lousy shots.

OK, here is version 1.0 of the revised sensors and environment for RFB. I sent it also to Luke for including in the next patch, but I make it available here directly so you guy don't have to wait and start putting pressure on Luke

Drop into JGSME and enable. AND READ THE README!!!!

first kill ?

after patrolling two areas west of the Philippines, plagued with premature torpedoes and duds.. didn't kill anything in that first convoy then :

went to Appari, missed a Chitose...

then moved to the Luzon straight, spotted a convoy coming down, had only one bow and one aft torpedoes left, aimed, fired, dove to 223 feet and crawled away..

one was a hit !

it finally stopped, I hit just forward of the engine room I think.

now look above : I crept in to finish it off later with the DG, gravity beat me to it it seems !
