Rik's mod is fantastic, but if I might do two minor suggestions for improvement, then those would be:
1) Use a curved earth, so we can see ships sink in the horizon. 2) Fine tune the horizon fog colour. Right now there is always a faint phosphorescent line in pale blue that results a bit annoying in its contrast with the excellent dark ocean and sky
