Why why why why why why why why why why why do threads always seem to be about the negative???....why not have a 'Having a great Day post it here' thread.

There..that's my rant over.....good job there was rant thread for me to put it in!!!

Those two white hairs that I plucked a few days ago, grew back. Mercilessly reminding me that I'm getting older and there's nothing I can do to stop it. Time just flies and as each day goes by, I'm literally dying a little more. Wasting my life in front of my computer...
Besides that everything is good!

Ya know, lately my wife is getting on my nerves more. She doesn't appreciate me. Why are women so different today than the women of my mothers generation..

My Mom worked a full time job, came home cooked a full course meal, cleaned house to bedtime. In the morning we had a decent breakfast. Our clothes were ironed, not pulled out of the dryer.

I don't mind not having enough money for a place to live, but I sure do wish I could play SH3 and SH4, and have an excuse to rant about SH5!

@ Steeltrap: Bravo! But I really hate people who steal my favorite rant before I get a chance to post it myself! Don' do dat no mo'!

And while you're at it, add people putting apostrophes where they don't belong (torpedo's, wave's) and not putting where they do belong (Steeltraps rant), and sometimes in the same sentence (SH3s torpedo's).

Why can't people learn the difference between:

it's and its
their and there (and they're while we're about it)
your and you're

etc. etc.

If English isn't your first language, fine. (As an aside, many people taught English as a second language often have a greater understanding of it than those 'native speakers', especially if they are Western European)

If it is your native language, stop polluting this forum with your rank ignorance. Go read a book or three until you understand. Seems to me students in the USA should be shooting their English teachers, not each other. I'm sick of it (and it's by no means confined to the USA, but the rest of us realised many years ago that guns + population was a stupid combination, so most other nations' students don't have the means to shoot their teachers). It's like getting a fresh slap in the face every time I open a thread, or like lifting a succession of rocks with a 90% chance of finding a funnel-web (think a Tarantula on steroids with anger management issues to boot) under each one. Makes me want to puke.

Ah, that's better! Great thread idea.
