I will /sign as well.

I am not willing to take a chance I am one of the unfortunate ones that have problems logging onto (and staying logged on) the authentication servers. Get rid of the DRM and I would definitely buy a copy the minute it happens.
If they were smart they would do this before the purchase price is 25% of the original release price.

I am against piracy but ubi have to take other steps to avoid that.
Maybe only for starting a game that you have to make a connection to
confirm your legal copy.

So, my answer is signed.

Signed.

Which is a shame, because I'm otherwise enjoying the game.
It has various shortcomings that are being corrected by the mod community and, hopefully, by future patches.
But there has got to be a better way for Ubisoft to protect their product from piracy.

Cheers

A one-time online activation should be sufficient. They can still tally up how many actually bought the game, including the folks with limited internet connections. Another bonus would be less money spent on server infrastructure; you'd only need authentication services. Less money spent on servers = more money for game development, more money for development of powerful and less obstructive protection methods, and also more money for prosecuting software pirates.

Signed.
