Hi.

I've got a problem with my computer. I've tried several forums and support sites and I've "googled" the problem and it seems that many people have got the same problem but I can't find a solution to it.

The problem is that I've deleted the rundll32.exe file. It was a virus and my anti-virus removed it. The backup file does not work. I've got Windows XP Proffesional. I have the windows CD.

Now I can't run any exe files, touch the controlpanel or adjust the volume. I hate to bother you with this but I might aswell try.

Insert your windows cd and boot from it. Run a repair. That SHOULD recreate the file along with the necessary registrations.
