That's why I hate to read reviews. Game or movie ones. 2/6?! WTH? I do not like many of the mentioned things but I believe that with some patches and especially talented modders work this can and will be a great game. Just like SHIV.

The only really bad reviews I've come across as I recall, are on IMDB (Internet Movie Database) where people make outlandish claims of how bad the movie they watched were. Probably IMDB trolling.

Well, he is not reviewing modded version - just what he got in the box plus patch.

I think when reviewing it should be mentioned that the game is moddable, but one shouldn't base his or her score on mods which may never be.

Just his opinion.I'm waiting for Neal's review. Anyway, got the game already - because of modders, of course, if not for them I wouldn't bither.

thats exactly what should be reviewed.

we cannot continue on down this path of releasing half baked products and letting the community finish it out.

i know we will always have mods and thats great.

but the game should be great out of the box by itself.

That's true, in the past there was a survey by Gamestar here in Germany and it showed that a majority of customers are not using mods on their games, they even not patch them if that does not automatically happend, they play the games the way they come out of the box.

But "unfortunately" the reviewers job is to review the product on hand as is, not what it "might" become.

I dont think its unfortunate that games are reviewed as is.

Most people dont mod their games. Nor should they to get the product to work properly.

I totally agree! That was actually sarcastic but I didn't indicate it as such... Was hoping it might be obvious but I was wrong once again.
