I'll would be glad to have the old style explosions back.

Could you please post some screenshots or even a video? That would be great.

I just made a video... but do not expect too much!
This is no complete new explosion.. just deleted the fireworks, swapped sounds and tweaked smoke a bit.

Video will come in a few minutes!
