I finally found and sank the Ark Royal last night while she was docked. Took 4 torpedo's before she finally went under.

Regarding the one torpedo thing, perhaps it's meant to emulate the real life sinking of the HMS Ark Royal? IE the design flaws and such that were revealed in that carrier when she was hit?

This is one of the funniest threads I've read.

Please, keep your patrol updates coming. The degree of entertainment I get far surpasses the enjoyment I get out of playing the game.

So I decided to go hunting in canal. I found 2 large convoys and I was heavy outnumbered.... But then Luftwaffe arrived.

I found 2 Large Convoys in the canal...

Then the airplanes started to show up...

And started an attack run on Convoys...

Because no one cared about single u-boat I started attacking DD`s

Every minit more planes started their attack run...

10 planes attacking one poor merchant...

I sunk 3 of them... the rest was luftwaffe..
