Just a question: changes will takes effect even if i already started a campaign? Or do i need to install this mod on a new campaign?

I tested this on an existing campaign and it worked. I tested it on a new campaign as well. But if you are in a middle of a patrol i would suggest you wait to install it untill you finish that patrol and are in port.
