Will probably wait till after the next patch before i do anything. I'd rather not have a video showing "work-arounds" for issues (.ie stadimeter screwing the AOB).

Thanks a lot Gutted--learned something new, and I needed it desperately! My problem is coming from SHIV, and being able to ping for range. Now I make sure my fish doesn't need to turn, and can just wait for that puppy to cross my crosshairs and LOS!
Also--excellent pedagogy--my kind of teaching/learning. Show the student how the TDC works, fundamentally, so that they can take that knowledge to ANY situation they might find themselves in. Great work--

Target Speed
JUst thought of an easy way to determine target speed, Set your own Sub to say 5 knots - then mark it on the map and draw a line out to 500 meters. time how long it takes your sub to travel 500 meters, this info can be used to determine another ships speed in relation to your own.
