NOOB question #2: mods howto...

Hi all,

since I'm a complete noob I started to search the forum on howto install the historical flag and symbols mod. I don't know the real name of the mod but saw some pictures of it on this forum. I think I have to download a mod enabeling program (don't know the name) and of course that flag-mod. Can someone please briefly tell me on how to do that and where I can download them?

It's apreciated so much !!

(btw: I'm in for the historical aspects and the realism, not for political reasons what soever)

well, this is what I did:

1. I downloaded the JSGME program and installed it. It works.
2. I downloaded the MOD and added it to the JSGME program directory MODS. It shows up in the program and I can activate it.
3. started SH5
4. nothing changed - the flags remain the same crosses... :-(

I even started a new campaign to see if that changed anything but unfortunatly it didn't... :-(

I have no idea what to do now...

Did you install JSGME into the game folder?

I have the same problem. I already started a thread to mod workshop section.

I think for the Accurate flag mod I manually put them into the folders.. removed the originals first (JUST IN CASE)

Default Figured it out

I got it now: I have the steam version of the game, on a vista 64-bit. Therefor the root is something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\... and so on. I installed the mod enabler in the Program Files without the x86. Problem solved, I love those mods!
