Hey guys,
i ve played Silent Hunter 1,2,3 and 4.
I actually did a bit of modding in SH3 and I think I know how much time modding and developing takes and that its not very easy.
So I really appreciate your work here! I bought SH5 yesterday, but I think Ill wait till the first big mods will realese.
Thank you so much for your work! Without you Silent Hunter wouldnt be such a great game serie.

P.s.
Sorry for my bad english, im German

Great thread, this is the attitude that makes Subsim a great place to be.

Power to the modders, and don't forget the Romanian devs, because they busted their butts to get the game this far and are still working to make it better. As any modder or developer can tell you, it's not always possible to say we're going to do X by such and such date. The dev team were not able to get SH5 as far as we wanted, but they provided powerful tools to help us make it better.

Remember, a positive attitude can do anything.

Just wanted to say thanks! You put the smile on our faces when we spend hours playing the sim instead of constant laughing from stupid, an irrational solutions of the creators. You save us so much irritation, that i will wright you a poem one day.. not sure

best regards SilentHunter saviours.

The Modders are the main reason that I bought this game ...

after seeing what they did to SH4.

Keep trucking!

Huge thanks to all the Modders for making this game playable as a simulation and not an arcade game like vanilla version.

It's a shame from Ubisoft to let completely the Modders community doing the finish for their products. I mean, when you see the sub controls of SH5 1.01. Almost no rudders controls, limited interaction with the sub hydrophones and so on... I could understand if the options where not implemented in the game, but they are. It's just a question to give a little bit more time (money) to the developers to release a correct (I don't even say 100%) product. Because we, customers, are spending our money to buy the game which Ubi fills their pocket with. And what do we get ? Ubi too can really address a BIG THANK YOU to the Modders community which really help to sell their games. I will do with SH5 the same I did with SH4. I will wait the mods to correct all the main problems before buying the game (I bought SH2, 3 and 4). I don't speak about the extra work to bring in new ships, fine tuning sensors and all very nice work the Modders do. No. Just the mods who make the game playable as it should be out of the box. Well, I agree this is out of topic but I think it's a point who needed to be mentioned.

So again, BIG THANKS to you Modders for all your works and the time you spend improving our favorite sub sims.

Keep up the good work

+1.

When I think about all the hours I've spent playing the SH series, the VAST majority of those have been 'under the influence' of either Real-Uboot, or GWX, or Trigger Maru, or RFB... If it weren't for GWX I'd've thought 'reh, this Silent hunter game is alright, but it's a bit boring...'. Instead, I eagerly anticipate every incremental release.

I owe my love of the game to the modders, for making the games SO MUCH MORE than what they were at release.

*snif* I love you guys...

Like sergei I think SHV will be awesome in the end. The Type VII fever grips me like back in the days.

Big thanks for the polish the modders already have supplied. Every day new, cool stuff.

Respect to the Modders. Although I spend more time looking at the Modding page then I do loading up SH5, just waiting for the next Mod to matter how small.
Was just looking at the a vid on utube for op Monsun for SH4 and it looks amazing - can dream of the same on SH5 someday.

Once again Thank You Modders.
