Try going back to a previous save and if that doesn't work, start a new career.

When I'm in the middle of an action and have to leave suddenly, I always just shut it off. I know you're not supposed to do that ever, but it saves a lot of headaches with the game.

Okay, I started a new career. Made it through 2 patrols, sunk 3 targets near Gibraltar, escaped from an approaching dd, now Sept. 6, docked at Corrientes supply ship. I think I'm all okay now.
Thanks for listening, and for the advise. I don't believe I'll save while submerged (or near land, or near a ship) again! I'm glad the career I had to abandon was fairly new! |
