I don't know if that is suppose to be a slam or not.. But the way that is worded if you know anythhing about windows Vista or 7 you would realise what they are trying to say.

When you put it into the default directory IE program files.. this directory is a Protected file system in vista and W7. Programs can't right to anything in there unless Admin Access is granted.

It gives problems to all kinds of games, not just this one. Its a common problem.

Ubi is far from perfect, but the Vista/Win 7 issues are not on them. No game should be installed into Program Files with these operating systems, especially ones that you expect to mod or patch often. You are just asking for trouble.

That is why most games, SH5 included, no longer default to the Program Files folder when installing. If you re-direct it there.. well I don't think that is Ubi's fault.

There are many worthy things to bash Ubi on lol, but this one is all Microsoft.
