A: The Ubisoft Game Launcher does not stop you from disabling the network connection. However, Windows does not allow you to stop a network connection that has an open encrypted connection. This is a feature of Windows, not the Ubisoft Game Launcher.

True, this couldn't be a 'feature' invented by UBI, as the very same message showed up before and not in context of a game.

It'd still be interesting, though, whether UBI uses a standard protocol or not
