That's because a fully rendred interior for the Das Boot experience is too much for them to resist.

We have.

Otherwise, folks like me are going to continue to stand up and do our best to be heard. I figure the rest of y'all will either get tired of hearing us and ignore us, or get tired of hearing us and do your best to censor/shut us up. No hard feelings, mind you, but I'm gonna do my best to be heard.

Let 'em do what they want. Who cares?

Everyone on this forum knows what I think about this game, but I would never say someone couldn't buy it if they wanted to. Anyway, the proof will be in the pudding in the months to come when the sale numbers come out. Either this game will set a trend or it won't. And either way there's nothing we can do about it now.

I'm not buying the game for a lot of reasons. They are all well documented. But if someone else wants to buy the game, then let them.

I will say this, however. The game has to overcome a lot of bad press to be a success. Maybe it will be able to do that. Maybe this is the future.* We'll just have to wait and see.

Seriously. Life's too short to worry over this malarkey. Trust me on this one.

*Yeah, I know, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit, too. But, hey, no matter how it shakes out we got popcorn, right? Right.

I fear for the future of computer games, truly I do. I just hope when something really important happens like the government makes certain policies that affect you, you will at least stand up and not back down when the government ignores you.

Guess I and a very few will be the sole ones with any backbone and stand by our principles. I shall never buy while this 24\7 DRM exists- NEVER, NEVER- NEVER!

Yea, the Mods will probably delete\ban\suspend\burn\destroy this.

Getting used to it.
I bought it simply to piss you off, yes you read correctly JUST TO UPSET AND ANGER YOU!!!!
I cant stand sub sims but after reading your rant I rushed over to UBI and plonked down 60 clams knowing full well that you very well might blow a gasket.

Don't hate me for it though as I need delicious, salty tears to sustain myself.

But implicitly calling those whobuy the game spineless is an exaggeration . . . it's only a game. Yes to me it's draconian but it's a game not like people have to buy it.

I've got plenty other titles to buy from including board games.

But as with your stand with this DRM you're not alone I stand with you
I'll PM you if I gave up and relented but that's unlikely.

Seriously, though, all those of you who've picked up SH5... no hard feelings. It *is* just a game. One I have very strong feelings for, but a game nonetheless. Anyone calls you spineless for buying it... well, you just call 'em spineless right back .
