I honestly don't think they'll be a SH6, and If their is, it won't be a PTO sim. They'll do u boats again, like always. The mythology and romance surrounding them is a cash cow.

If SH5 is as moddable as claimed, if they REALLY did include the tools the devs use, that could be the throwing in of the proverbial towel. The best chance to see another PTO sim, would be a total conversion of SH5, which is probably only going to be possible by a herculean effort of a team of modders covering the whole range of needed skills.

So, as far as I can see from here, the future seems very dark and cold for a SHVI on fleet boats...

As Ducimus said, only if the modders have the freedom they are promised, things may be a little better.

But, even if it is not something created from zero on Fleet Boats, a construction over it would be nice (if given all the needed freedom).

The bottom line is: I want to walk around my U.S. submarine!!! I want to see my ship rockin when the DC's go off!! Not just looking at some zombie-eyed officer with a zombie-like reaction... *sigh*
