Wonder if my internet connection will hold for the session- or if UBI`s server won`t quit on me, or... you get the idea.

Actually I won`t bother buying it while that DRM lasts.

Why not ignore those messages, instead of making a fuss about it in every thread? Trust me, that gets pretty annoying too.

If I am causing the anti-DRM bots even a hundredth of the annoyance they are causing me, GOOD. Suck it up and see how your medicine tastes.

Yep, pretty much. As soon as I saw it I thought "I've seen that somewhere before." After that I ignored everything else.

I'll take out my Beck's from the fridge, put it on my desk.

Then i will open the brand new SH5 case and take a deep breath smelling the new dvd!

During the install i will drink my Beck's!
Better drink four or five, then it all becomes vaguely pleasant, even the periscope interface becomes hilarious.

Dynamite? If you're afraid you'll get that disappointed, you may want to go stick with SHIII.

:ducks:

It's like PETA demonstrators or war protesters: keep giving them attention and you're backing up their illusion that they're making a difference. Ignore them and they'll go get a job.

I will giddily open the box, take out the cd, put it in my comp and install. after the install come to subsim and see if there is a required patch. (crossing my fingers for the DRM going away). Install the patch, and spend the next few hours trying out the sim. Taking note of what sounds need replacement, (sorry but I like the clickty clack of the sound of the diesels in Das boot, I have been around an open tapet engine and they have a characteristic sound, that the stock sh sound just is not).
Learn the sims faults and see how surmountable they are.
Oh, and hope my comp can run the sim without any eminent up grades.

I will install it turn up the detail to highest settings and watch my computer curl over and die, then i will cry and cry and cry and load up Silent hunter 3 and pretend that its the "Lite version of SH5"

I know my pc will run it in low to medium but i want all the eye candy showing 100%. I'm shopping around for hardware upgrade.
