I wonder if shore batteries would account for the strange booms I heard in SH1 while patrolling around the Japanese Islands? There were never any visual sightings, no contacts on either radar either. I'd be tooling along on the surface and it sounded like a 500 lb bomb was dropped 100 feet from the submarine. Never did any damage to the sub but it sure was interesting to pop my head up over the conning tower and see nothing around!

I erased all my old careers from SH1 and SHCE. I'm going to start new ones in both and compare the results.
