Waiting for your decision. I only believe that potential donors will feel more welcomed and comfortable and more inclined to generously donate if the page is not the standard "canned Paypal" slap in the face that bill payers are familiar with when paying bills. Of course the page to which I have referred does contain the added Paypal link also, but when people are confronted with the page I suggested, I believe they a receive a warm welcome and a chance to view the donor level options before opening their wallets.

I trust you will take the time to also review my previous posts here with regards to your final decision.

Any comments from the general membership, as the review committee have been on holiday for years evidenced by the last hanging posts.....

I am positive that the admin will consider only contructive comments that may help wake them........

It is is important that I initiated this thread and have posted myself many times. Henceforth, any comments herein obviously should be based upon the combined posts within this thread and stated in a proper context for a proper review.

I do not advocate mutiny, however the admin at Subsim.com is obviously asleep or dousing forest fires in the SH5 forum....... to wit I am suspect by their sleeping nature for years evidenced by last posts submitted for review years ago.

There is not one valid reason why my thread should not be implememted, but only with the fact that Neal owns this site and chooses to do what he wants and when, only. None other than Neal himself can present a valid arguement as to why not.

Hey Ships, I appreciate the ideas. Like d@rk51d3 said, the donation levels have no connetion to avatars at all. They are simply fun little tags to foster a sense of worth for the people who make contributions. I'm pretty happy with the way it is set up. I see you have a Support Subsim" link in your sig, that's helpful and very thoughtful of you, mate.
