Hi,
I might be wrong but I think the only way to initiate a visual report (on the Nav Map) from a sub is by the periscope by Marking. Tried to pass close of a surface contact while being on the bridge of a Sub but it will not give you a Lookout report. I guess this is only happening on the FFG? (I read the doc as well and that it was it seems to me.) Thank you Mau |

Yes you will only get lookout reports on the frigate.
For the subs there is no lookout report, except by manually marking contacts on the periscope. |

You can also manually create a contact. Look on your help screen for the key combination. I use that feature a lot when planning over-the-horizon cruise missile attacks, but you can just as easily use it for visual contacts.
