SH3 Commander: "Invalid argument to date encode"

You can continue the career - the error message is caused because SH3 Commander can't find a valid career start date in Careers.cfg. The career start date is *only* grabbed once in SH3 Commander. It's the seed for determining all the pre-career dates (DOB, DOI, promotions etc) used in the Career Summary. Easily rectified, simply edit/replace StartMonth=0, StartDay=0 and StartYear=0 with StartMonth=9, StartDay=1 and StartYear=1940 respectively.

I finally finished browsing the forums now (after 4 hours!) after getting home from work, and tried editing the patrols.cfg-file. Now when starting SH3 Commander, I don't get an error message immediately, but when selecting 'Summary' I get the same error message that is mentioned in the topic. So not the 'Access violation...' message like earlier, but the other one.

Anyway, I'll fire up SH3 now and dock, and see what happens afterwards.
