how will the ubi-server react on self-made mods like missions and weather and water mods and such?

the devs said its moddable. if trhe only thing to do with the servers is the savegame files, we can do all we please. [damn big one]IF.[\damn big one]

another one(yes,i know,that's fast but i have lots of questions):
ubisoft says,quote; "What if Ubisoft decides not run these online services in the future? Will my game stop working? If any service is stopped, we will create a patch for the game so that the core game play will not be affected." so,wouldn't it be possible to create that mod in the community? ![]() |

I don't think the modders would be able to do it. First, it's probably in the executable, and would need to actually be patched out. Mods change the data, not the executable. Second, if someone did it in a mod instead of a patch, they'd be a cracker, not a modder anyway. |

![]() Let me highlight the part you seem to have missed, this is in reference to the hypothetical patch to remove DRM. Which means he wants the community to create a "mod" that enables core gameplay without a connection to the internet. That is a crack. |
