How much for an internet connection in your area? Per month? Will your computer run SH5 smoothly with an internet connection?

I can get one fairly cheap, but I'm so poor I'm constantly on the verge of being homeless again. Getting a job I can actually do is the hard part.

Oops, belay that - as of yesterday I really am homeless again, so it's a double whammy.

Damn... Land of Opportunity my ass. This economic crisis sure has hit you guys hard. I thought the "Bruce Spingsteen" era was over. It's "Atlantic City" all over again

Wait a minute, aren't you on the internet right now? And weren't you at the Subsim meet in Copenhagen last year?

I'm at the local library right now, and no, I didn't go to Copenhagen.

My band did play a gig that week. Made a whopping fifty bucks.

Jesus man, I'm sorry. How 'bout we put this 'Community' thing to the test and start up a donation type deal? Do you have a Paypal account? There's nearly 16000 Members on this site, if only 10% donate $1 that's $1600 towards a new machine. I'm in! Get Neal on the phone somebody!

The more information UBI releases on the net about SH5, the more damage it does to the game in my eyes. After reading the crew biographies I didn't know if to laugh or cry. "Steck sie rein"??? You've got to be f**king kidding me?

The SH5 is not going to be Type VII simulator with RPG elements it sounds more like FPS/RPG with faint trace of "simulation". The fact it takes place on the submarine does NOT make it simulation.

As of now I am definitely "hands off" of this "simulator".

@UBI: please do me a favor and do not release anything else until March 4th

The game isnt even out yet man. Take it easy. Never seen so much pessimism before a game release.

True, but there is enough info released to allow me to form an opinion.
I am entitled to have one... If you call it "pessimism" so be it.

True, but give the game a chance. It's a month from release and you've already decided not to buy it? Wait for a review or two maybe.
