The D.I.D. (Dead is Dead) Thread For Bilge Rats and old Skippers (forum members). It got a lot of interest (see thread) last year and was only suspended because of me being black balled by Photoshack. (@#$%^&) They objected to the Death cards showing the swats.

I am now with Imageshack and have all my graphics back, I am now able to start issueing the Death Cards to those players who play D.I.D.

If there are enough of you interested I will start the thread again (PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY RESPONDING TO THIS THREAD).

To participate you will have to have a image hosting site like – http://imageshack.us/[/URL]- (FREE) and be playing SH3 Commander. You will also need a screen capture program (many free ones on the web).

PROCEDURE

If you are lost at sea go to the SH3 Commander screen and ask for your personnel file. Take a screen shot of it. Go to your Image host site and upload it to the site. Once uploaded it will show a url location of where it is at. Copy this location to your clip board or write it down for later use.
Go to Subsim SH3 forum D.I.D. Thread (I will activate if there is enough interest) and go to the D.I.D. thread. Go to POST REPLY and title it as example D.I.D. Cpt name & rank.

I will check the thread daily and have Bdu initiate a death card to the brave souls who gave their life for their country. It will be posted on the thread. You can click on it and print it out or save to disk.

Death Card as seen on the thread. There will also be career highlights and details concerning how you were lost (if known).

A pm will also be sent to your loved ones by Raider expressing the gratitude of the German people in reguard to your Honor & Dedication. Your loved ones can print this out.

In your Honor Bdu will place your Death Card and Service history in the Bdu Death Registry below.

Of course, that thread was awesome, so why shouldn't this one be? And i need bragging rights when this bernhard dies and i have at least 50K under my belt... stupid reinstalls :/
