Now that is cool!
I'm sure even if I started wearing Subsim Merchandise people wouldn't believe I'm a member, let alone a moderator. I'm hoping this year's meet is somewhere nearby, always wanted to go to one.

+1

I can't afford to go to the places they have been held so far.. now San Diego is a good Naval town... if they had one there it would be a 30 min drive downtown

I bought the hat when we were there, it wasn't part of the thank you package.

That's a cool offer! I'd love to work on one of those old tubs...especially the PT boat!

You know HighBury, I believe that we haven't decided on the location of a 2010 meet. There was some discussion of several places, but as noone is there to "host" it, it makes it hard for us all to be organized.

If nothing has been decided, and if you know San Diego well enough, make up a tentative schedule and send a mail over to Neal. Include things such as where members would stay (what hotel, preferably close to our order of operations, where we will be sight seeing, visiting museums etc), what we would be doing on what day, where we would eat, and evening activities.

I'm planning on attending again this year (Year 3!) and might bring my ole' dad along this time again if the sights are worth seeing

Wear my Torsk hat on the weekends. T-shirt as well if I'm on the Torsk. I have a SS coffee mug at work.
