That's what I was trying to figure out. Can anybody tell if this map has the real life grids (like the Aces of the Deep map) or is it the same as SHIII?

Bring back the big box format then! It's worth it.

Just a small point - the pic above indicates that the Collector's Edition includes all the things listed. That doesn't necessarily mean that the standard edition *excludes* all of them (i.e., the map, manual, or whatever that may have come with standard editions in the past), unless you've got an official release somewhere stating what does and doesn't come with it.

I have some "Collector's Edition" DVD sets and the only thing they have that the "non-collector" edition doesn't is the shiny metal box.

Well I hope they have some sort of document telling about the mission editor in game. Do you think they are putting a mission editor in the game or not. I hope its a little more detailed then what they put in in sh3.

Protip: The developers don't choose the contents of the collector's edition. Ubisoft's marketing people do that. Calm down before you give yourself an embolism.

But, but but look! They had to get someone to update the logo! That's an all new, original logo! That's worth the price, isn't it?

that Jpeg file, printed with the SHIII logo, exists for 5 years now. They want cash and give nothing new.

THAT makes me angry because that is stealing everyones Money - everyone that has SHIII, and gets the edition to "support" the series.
In my eyes that is stealing.

Indeed. I'm dissapointed too. I mean, earth changed, continets shifted, right?. The world it's different since the 40`s. Also, why would they redo the same SH3 historical accurate shipping routes and lanes. I don't care they didn't changed. I want something else. Not to mention that the map seems bigger then the SH3 one. And what if it's a different map, to me it's the same, but just different. I really hate that.

And yes...it's irony!

I still have my AoD patrol grid map. It looks much nicer than this one.
