Definantly a nentendo advert... trying to make them more popular... I know that the stupid wii hasnt oversold the stupid Xbox by that mutch...

I will never understand why someone would want a console over a PC.

sth like 2 or 3 years ago I saw a footage concerning an institution in Japan. If a young japanese decided that he has no life except games his family could pay for his staying in a kind of building where he was given two things: a console and food. They showed a few guys who were there, small rooms with their consoles, pretty awesome methinks

In a word its 'easier' none of that pesky upgrading or configuring to worry about.

Also re-assurance that the title you buy should be compatible with you system. less bugs etc. At least that is the perception.

I personally prefer PC but thats two reasons why others prefer platform.
