The start date of ww2 depends largely upon who you ask. I assume you're referring to 1 Sept. 1939 or 3 Sept 1939, but at that point it wasn't really a "World War" yet. For the Americans Americans it began in December 41'. The Russians put the start of the "Great Patriotic War" as June of 41'. The Japanese and Chinese would probably date the conflict back to July of 37', or even as early as 1931, when the Sino-Japanese war began the first time. Many other countries didn't join the war until 44' or 45', though I'm sure everyone would agree it was certainly a world war before that time period.

In any case, congrats on your between 78th and 68th years. May you live to see a hundred or more

Interesting question that you dig out from under that sunken wreck.

I'm in my late forties. Still love playing the game at my age and hopefully many more years will pass and I'll stay be playing this kind of game.

Thanks for the great question. It got me reflecting on the things I like to do besides going back to college and play sub simulation games in my spare time.

Undersea IMO there was war before but it didn't become WWII until 7 Dec. 41 and the western hemisphere joined the fight.

I'm old enough as is without you adding another 10 years.

Ships Playing SH4 keeps you young at heart anyway.

Born11 days before WW II started in the Netherlands 10 May 1940.

That day, 29 of april, my granddad, after visiting me and my mother, was leaving for sea and came back five yars later a few days after the war ended.
