Hi!
where can I find the actual map (chart of the pacific). I'm just started SH4 and would like a nomograph without installing a supermod. I have Wazoo's SH3 tga which I'd like to simply paste into the map overlay (not draggable). Cheers! |

I think to add a nomograph to SH4 you need to edit the menu ini file.
This is the entry from the TMO menu ini. [G31 I60] Name=Nomograph Type=1030;Static bmp ItemID=0x3100000f ParentID=0x31000000 Pos=0,0,168,672 Zone=0 768 168 672 2 1 0x31000000 0.8 -0.06 0x3100000f 0 0 0 0 Color=0xFFFFFFFF Materials=1 Display=2;Linear Mat 0=data/menu/Skins/American/Gui/nomograph.dds MatFlags=0x9 TexFmt=0x0 BACK UP YOUR MENU INI FIRST! Try adding this entry. As you can see it will be looking for the image file here - data/menu/Skins/American/Gui/nomograph.dds. So make sure your file is in this place, with the filename 'nomograph' saved as a dds file. Try this out and let us know how you get on. |

thanks!
will try it tonight. But I'm not sure about the menu.ini entry number. Maybe I just put it to the end of the other G31 entries ![]() |

Having looked at the menu ini tonight I think you have to look for the last G31 entry.
Whatever that is eg I60 or whatever, add one. To be safe, don't edit the menu ini in your game, but make new folders and turn it into a JSGME mod. Good luck. Back here for details if it goes wrong. ![]() |

yes it worked! thanks very much! I might upload it to the download section when I find out how to change the position a tiny little bit. At the moment the last centimeter of the time scale (200 minutes) is not showing because one of the dial in the lower right. Still works great though. 200 minutes is hardly the amount of time for a single plot, and for long range calculations I can use 100 minutes and multiply.

Excellent. Glad it worked.
If you need to see the last bit of the nomograph, try hitting the DEL key on your keyboard. It hides the HUD. Glad to be of service |
