-I understand the Position Keeper, and how it enables you to varify your solution while approaching. But when it comes to attacking multiple targets... is there a way to move the scope and have the PK update its AoB (for e.g. a Convoy attack)?
yes, you can shoot at multiple ships, but it takes one extra step due to the AOB and the persicope not being linked as it was in the U-Boats.

Move the scope to the next target, get a range/bearing reading to it and send it.. then set the AOB for the target.. send it and fire. That might sound hard at first, but it's really not.

Since you already know the course of the convoy. Just Adjust the AOB (on the data entry dial) until the target dial on the upper-left of the screen is pointing at the correct course. When it is pointing at the correct course, the AOB is correct.

.ie Guestimate his AOB by rotating the dial to match what you see out the scope. Hit Send.. and look at the target dial on the left. Note where the 0 on the inner dial points to on the outer dial. If the convoy is going 220 degrees.. the 0 on the inner dial should be pointing at 22 on the outer dial. If it's not, adjust the AOB slightly and resend. Just make sure to do Range/Bearing before AOB.

Or you could just guestimate his AOB, and not worry about it, which is what i do now.

@gutted: it would be just great if you could include more shipclasses in your AoB training mode (if this isn't too much work). Maybe one tanker, one battleship, one carrier, one destroyer. I think everyone would appreciate this although the large filesize.

Unfortunately my "modding skills" are limited to Photoshop resizing and guided menu.ini entries. If I can do anything to help with the 3d models (if you tell me how to get them), please tell me

It would be cool, but i ceased working on the project months ago and dubbed it complete already (even though there is still one minor hickup with the distance chart).

Not looking back. No longer interested unfortunately. Source code is tucked away on a backup drive. Maybe when SH5 is out, and im actually "subbing" again, i'll rethink it.

Right now, i'm spending my time with my other simming hobby:
