The above quotations explains about the wheel(s) and their many functions, and I see that their A wheel is pointing to where it should, or at least i think so. I can still use the tool for AOB and other course and bearing calculations, however, this 20° discrepancy is somewhat irk'ish. Granted, I don't really need it, just wondering what the heck???? Perhaps an edit to the files??
hello Comet,

i don't know what is going on with your installations but the issue you describe at your previous message is not happening
take a pic with the problem, register to http://photobucket.com/ and upload your image there .once you done so...the photobucket will give you a link for the image (under the pic,the one at the very bottom ).copy this link and paste it here

Default AoB error

If you look at the upper and lower left corners, you'll see that the compasses are true. Now look at the top of the AoB wheel...20° difference. The compass shows about 102° whereas the AoB wheel shows 82°.

There is no error!

I suggest you look at the little white triangle (on the moving brown background wheel, a bit below right side) and see it is neatly against the 101 degree. Confirmed by the compas readout on the lower left. And by the normal compass dial.

The "N" at the top of the yellowish disk DOES NOT indicate your course.

Default AoB

Oh good grief you're right! I didn't see that in Makmans' explanation in the other MaGui thread. I totally forgot about the white arrow. My bad. Please disregard this thread. My fault. Now...back to the show.

@Comet: also check your installation becuase the text phrase by the NA is NOT coming from the files of MaGui .
if you want to use MaGui disable all the mods AFTER it that are conflicting with the files of MaGui ,
and have in mind this: when jsgme is warning you that there are conflicts with previous installed mods...then you simply DON'T enable them ! unless the author of the mod has made it compatible and unless you know very well what you are doing with the conflicts.
other than these....expect always to have 'problems'

bye

Well...I really don't have any problems now. Things do seem to be working just fine now that I realized my goof. Sorry for "crying wolf". Love the mod!!
