I've got two kits thus far:
IJN escort carrier Chuyo by Aoshima IJN heavy cruiser Ashigara by Fujimi I've ordered IJN BB Ise, glue, brush sets, masking tape, surface primer, thinners, tweezers, 3rd helping hand, needle file set etc. online and am awaiting their delivery before I can make a start. Next will be the ordering of relevant Tamiya acrylic paint sets ![]() |

The Akagi was the first Japanese capital ship to be scuttled by own ships in the Pacific War.
It is interesting to note that when Chuyo was sunk she was carrying 21 Pows from the USS Sculpin (20 of whom perished). http://www.combinedfleet.com/chuyo.htm |

That Ise should be fun. Especially with those hair-raising pagoda towers the Japanese were so fond of.
