Default Handed Binoculars Mod?

Question what does the Handed Binocular Mod Do?
I installed it via JSGME to GWX3 Hoping for that it would have
Bearing Lines. But no Cigar?
Did a search and found a post by Sailor Steve about Bearing Lines
May try that.

The 'Handed Binocular' gives you a pair of hands holding the binoculars.

As for the bearing lines, all I've ever had is an old post by Danlisa. Open your menu.ini and find the binos block, you'll see that the tga being used is bearing2.tga, change it back to bearing.tga and the bearing lines will be back.

Steve,
Thanks for that info. I went to the Menu.GUI in SH3 GWX3
and found the Bino Bearing2.tga file. But there is a problem There is
another file there Bearing.tga So you can't have two files with the same
File name. So I renamed the Bearing.tga and changed the Bearing2.tga.
to Bearing.tga. Ran Sh3 and no bearing lines in Bino. and lost bearing lines
in UZO Station. So I went back and changed the file names to there orignal.
Tested and UZO has bearing lines and Bino works ok just no bearing lines.
That's ok I can live without the Bearings lines in Bino.
Thanks for the info.
Lane.
PS Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Do this:

1. copy and paste the bearing.tga at your desktop
2.rename it (the one at your desktop) to bearing2.tga
3. replace the bearing2.tga with the one that you just renamed and you are ready to go

bye
