Neal: Without you none of this would have ever happened. I agree with the anonymous voter that you deserve this. You should follow your own advice and wear it with pride. Anybody sees it and says otherwise, you'll have dozens of us standing up for you.

And I'd also like to thank Aramike for having this idea and seeing it through. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't mean a lot, but it makes us feel more like the community we are, and that does mean a lot.

Heh wow I'm shocked I must say. I don't know how I won moderator of the year. Particularly since my patrol area is just the general games area which is generally pretty quiet. Also I don't see why I deserve it when we have so many great moderators here, did most of ya disqualify yourselves or something?

The votes were all counted correctly.. yes?

Anyhow I am very touched and shall try to continue to do my best, thank you all

And, as Admin of the site, I want to point out that the members of the Awards Committee voluntarily served knowing they would not be eligible for awards. And I am sure several of them would have been strong contenders, if not for being on the committee.
