And now you guys know what Elanaiba looks and sounds like.

I agree with Ritmeister. It sounds to me like the 'Campaigns' are extended scenarios involving various operations.

He did say "...also the dynamic campaign". We raised such a fuss over the early SH3 announcement that that game would not have one that it was delayed for six months while they fixed it (after they took a couple of polls to make sure what we really wanted).

I don't think there's anything to worry about.

Mine biggest fear is coming true! Mission based U-boat simulation! C'mon people we want freedom to roam the ocean! Not D.W. style missions! This "campaign" thing stinks up to the sky!

Did you actually watch the interview and listen all the way to the end?

The dynamic campaign, reflecting the entire war will still be available and will offer the player the ability to affect the outcome of the war on different fronts.

That was the impression I got too. It's hard to think they'd go backwards, especially given the stink raised with the SH3 dynamic campaign issue.

They have them in SH4, called 'Historical Battles', not as expansive as what Dan was suggesting but nevertheless the same concept and already a part of game.

I just hoope you are right. Would be a great disappointment if the dynamic campaign was unlockable or or had some parts of oceans loced before you achieve sth....
