Something tells me there is more to this 'story' than meets the eye.

How is that curious? That's exactly what you would expect to happen regardless of why the complaint was filed. Asking "who benefits?" doesn't explain anything.

It's curious because nothing has actually been done yet. They just announced their intentions and the speculators jumped on it.
