As I recall though they were the ones that coined that name for themselves when they started mailing tea bags to politicians, and called it a tea bagging campaign. They even liked the name till they found out the other meaning behind it, then they quickly distanced themselves from it.

Yes that would be known as sarcasim and trust me they knew what the phrase meant from day one.

Correct , they were perfectly happy with that term for months, until lots of people started taking the piss out of it. Though the piss taking started all the way back in February and they had no problem until April when they decided to get upset over a name they had chosen for their own activities.
And now we have people attempting to rewrite history because they have become offended.

Ah you are going down the other approach. So instead of rewriting history ike August did you are saying they chose the name for their actions knowing full well the sexual conotations of the words....in that case who are the people complaining about the words being rude?

Well call them tea baggers call them astroturfers call them what you wish but the truth is that it is a grass roots movement which is gathering momentum.

Sure go ahead and impune the source. Fact of the matter is that the story is not fabricated.
